Chur Chur Naan (Without Oven/ Tandoor)

Naan is leavened and crispy bread which made from plain flour dough, and served with makhani gravies.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Maida/ Plain Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 Tsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix it well. Cover and keep aside the dough for 2-3 hours.

  2. Flatten the dough with your hands and brush it with butter. Fold the both sides and again brush it with butter. 

  3. Fold again and divide the dough into equal parts. Roll it into ball and rest the dough balls for 10 minutes. 

  4. Take dough and dust it with flour. Flatten it with your hands or rolling pin. Sprinkle the black sesame seeds and coriander leaves. 

  5. Flip it and apply the little water on another side, place it on hot tawa and prick it with fork. 

  6. Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes. Now flip the tawa upside to down and increase the flame. 

  7. Move it over the flame and let it cook through until you see brown spots on the naan. 

  8. Brush with butter and serve with gravies.
