Noodles Wrapped Paneer




Today I post Noodle wrapped paneer recipe under the Chinese cuisine theme.  It’s a starter recipe which prepared with marinated paneer wrapped around with noodles.  


For this recipe, you can use rice noodles or normal packet noodles. Firstly boil the noodles according to packet instructions and mix with cornflour and salt for golden and crunchy texture. It’s a nice, crunchy chinese snack inspired by prawn based recipe. I made as vegetarian version for my readers.

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients 
300Gm Cottage Cheese
1 Cup Boiled Noodles
2 Tbsp. Cornflour
Salt to taste
Oil for Deep Frying

For Marination
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 Tsp. Olive Oil
1 Tsp. Chili Flakes
1 Tsp. Onion Flakes
Salt to Taste
Black Pepper to Taste
1 Finely Green Chilies, Chopped
1/2 Tsp. Ginger Paste

Instructions 
Cut the paneer into long and thick pieces.
Mix the marination ingredients in deep bowl and add chopped paneer slices, mix well.
Keep aside for a couple of minutes to infuse the flavors in paneer.
Boil the noodles and mix with cornflour and salt.
Pierce the paneer with satay sticks and wrapped with noodles and keep aside.
Deep fry them till to golden and crisp. Serve immediately with chili sauce or tomato ketchup.

Sweet Corn And Vegetable Soup | Chinese Recipes




Today I post sweet corn and vegetable soup, its Indo-Chinese cuisine which prepared with whole sweet corn kernels and half of crushed, mix with some seasonal and crunchy vegetables. I used very simple and flavorful recipe. I love sweet corn personally and sweet corn based recipes. It’s a great option for winter season as anytime hungry meal.

How to Prepare Sweet Corn and Vegetable Soup Recipe.

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:
1 Cup Sweet Corn, Boiled
½ Cup Mixed Vegetables (Carrots, Capsicum, Cabbage), finely chopped
½ Tsp. Garlic Paste
3 Tbsp. Cornflour
4 Cup Water
1 tsp. Soy Sauce
Salt to Taste
Black Pepper to Taste
1tbsp. Butter


Instructions:
Boil the sweet corn and crush in grinder half of them.
Combine cornflour in 1 cup of water and mix well. Keep aside.
Heat the butter in a deep pan, add garlic paste and sauté on medium flame.
Add boiled sweet corn, crushed corn, mixed vegetables and mix well. Add soya sauce, salt, black pepper and again stir continuously for few seconds.
Add cornflour water mixture and extra cup of water to adjust the consistency.
Cook it on a medium flame for another 5-7 minutes, stir randomly.
Serve hot sweet corn soup with chili vinegar and soya sauce.


Notes:  Adjust the salt and pepper seasoning in soup according to your tastebuds because soya sauce also salty in taste.

Schezwan Fried Rice | Chinese Recipes

If you want to eat something spicy, tangy and tasty, then schezwan fried rice is best option. It’s a very simple and instant recipe which made with readymade schezwan sauce, leftover rice and mixed vegetables. Even you can use rice noodles also instead of rice. You can serve this recipe with chili paneer, Manchurian or any gravy based Chinese recipe.





Sichuan cuisine is a style of Chinese cuisine originating from Sichuan province in southwestern China. It has bold flavours, particularly the pungency and spiciness resulting from liberal use of garlic and chili peppers, as well as the unique flavor of the Sichuan pepper.




Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

Ingredients
2 Cups Boiled Rice
1/4 Cup Spring Onion, Chopped
1 Small Capsicum, finely chopped
1/4 Cup Beans and Carrots, finely chopped
1 Tsp. Ginger-Garlic paste
4 Tbsps. Schezwan Sauce
1 Tsp. Soya Sauce
1 Tbsp. Vinegar
Salt to Taste
1 Tbsp. Oil

Instructions:
Heat the oil in non-stick pan. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for few seconds on medium flame.
Add chopped white and green part of spring onion.
Add capsicum, carrots and beans and sauté on a high flame for 10 minutes or till to tender.
Add soya sauce and schezwan sauce and mix well. Keep stirring.
Add vinegar, rice and salt and mix well.
Cook the rice on medium flame for next five minutes and stir continuously to incorporate all the flavors together.
Serve warm fried rice with chili sauce.

Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie


Smoothies are healthy beverages when we used right ingredients and right taste. You can prepare delicious and refreshing smoothie at home with few ingredients.





Strawberry and Kiwi Smoothie is healthy and delicious smoothie which prepared with kiwi and strawberries. To give nice smooth texture, add banana and yogurt. If you don’t like yogurt in smoothie, add ice-cream for smooth texture.

Chocolate Cake Cookie Smoothie




You can get all of creamy, smooth, chocolaty flavors from one glass of chocolate cake cookie smoothie, just like a chocolaty dessert. Add chocolate flavored cake, Choco chip cookies and vanilla ice-cream into blender till to smooth.


I choose Chocolate Cake Cookie smoothie for blogging marathon edition # 72, under the theme of smoothie. For more flavorful treat, you can add espresso or instant coffee liquid. Even you can garnish with some whipped cream and colorful sprinkles too… attract the kids.

1 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Crumbled Chocolate Cake
1/2 Cup Crumbled Chocolate Cookie

Instructions:
Blend all the ingredients together till to smooth texture.
Serve in glass and top with grated chocolate and cookies.

​Milk Peda | Instant Milk Peda | Milk Based Sweets Recipe





Milk Peda recipe is a quick or instant version of mawa peda recipe which is made with canned condense milk and milk powder. It is a popular sweet in North Indian region, traditionally made with mawa or evaporated milk flavored of saffron and cardamom. But this is a quick method to make peda at home without any fuss.



Even you can check another version of milk peda like chocolate peda on my blog. For 3rd day under the theme of Milk based sweets, i prepared milk peda. hope all of you like it..


How to Prepare Milk Peda

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
Servings: 10 Pieces
Cuisine: North Indian

Ingredients:
200gm Condense Milk
1 Cup Milk Powder
1Tbsp. Desi Ghee
1Tsp. Green Cardamom Powder
Few Strands of Saffron
Chopped Almonds for Garnishing


Instructions
Cook the condense milk in non-stick pan on low flame for 5 minutes.
Gently add milk powder, cardamom powder and saffron and mix well. Add ghee and mix again.
Remove from the gas and keep aside to cool at room temperature.
Grease ghee on your hands and give the oval shape and garnish with chopped almonds.

Milk Cake | Milk Based Sweet Recipe

Milk cake is an Indian sweet dish made with milk and sugar. It’s very popular in North Indian specially Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Usually this sweet dish is made during different festival or tradition in India such as Diwali, Holi, Rakhi and more.  For 2nd day under the theme of milk based sweets, I prepared milk cake at home for my family and readers… hope all of you like it.



Typically Milk cake is prepared by boiling milk till to thick condense milk consistency and cooked with sugar and cardamom, for grainy texture we can add lemon juice or phitkari. You can keep this dish for 5 to 6 days at room temperature and more than one week in freeze.


Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: one hour+
Servings: 6 Small Pieces

Ingredients:
1 Litre Full Cream Milk
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Cardamom
1 Tbsp. Desi Ghee/ Clarified Butter
1/2 Lemon, Juice
Grated Pistachios, for garnishing


Instructions:
Boil the milk in a deep heavy bottom pan on medium flame.
When milk starts boiling, let’s stir the milk continuously till to milk remains 1/3 in quantity.
Now to make grainy form of milk, add lemon juice slowly on low flame. Don’t stir at the time of adding lemon juice.
After one minute, stir the milk constantly till the milk gets thick and grainy consistency.
Add green cardamom powder and sugar as per taste and mix well. Keep stirring and you will get golden brown color mixture.
To set the milk cake, grease the pan with ghee. Transfer the mixture to the greased pan and cover it gently. Keep aside to set for 2-3 hours.
Cut into square or rectangular shape and garnish with chopped pistachios.


Notes: take thick bottom pan otherwise mixture can stick to the bottom of vessel.

Rice Kheer | Rice Payesh | Rice Payasam


Traditionally kheer is made with rice and milk. This creamy rice and milk pudding is flavored with cardamom powder and full of nuts. In the South, kheer is known as payasam and in the East it’s known as payesh. It is typically served during a meal or as a dessert.


Once again I started to participate in Blogging Marathon hosted by Srivalli.  For this 72nd Edition I choose Milk Based Sweets theme for 1st week. Hope all of you like this recipe.



Preparation Time: 30 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Servings: 4
Category: Desserts
Cuisine: Indian

Ingredients:
5 Cups Full Cream Milk
1/2 Cup Rice
1/2 Cup Sugar or as per taste
1/2 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
1/4 Cup Mix Nuts, Chopped (Pistachios, Raisins, Cashews and Almonds)

Instructions:
Wash and soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
Take milk in heavy bottom pan and boil on medium flame.
When milk starts boiling, add rice. Stir properly and cook on medium flame till the rice is cooked and soft.
Add green cardamom powder and chopped mixed nuts. Stir it well.
Add sugar and again mix well. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve hot or chilled as you like.


Notes: To check right consistency, if rice and milk should fall in same flow, not separated as earlier stage. Consistency should be thick at the time of serving. You can add pinch of saffron also for better taste and appearance.
