26 Vegetarian Protein Rich Recipes

Every Year BM group select two themes on which basis which shared 26 recipes continuously in Sept and April of every year.  This time Srivalli founder of Spice your life blog decided to choose Protein Rich Theme for Sept. 2017.





Under this theme I shared 26 vegetarian Protein rich recipes which are easy to make at home plus every ingredient also easily available in market.  The list of main ingredients I choose for protein rich recipes i.e. Amaranth Seeds, Buckwheat, Quinoa, Brown Rice, Tofu, Oats, Lentils, Beans, Spinach and many More.

  1. Golden Milk Smoothie : Golden Milk Smoothie is made with golden milk and vanilla Ice-cream.





  1. Amaranth Vegetables Pilaf : Amaranth Vegetable Pilaf is amazing and tasty recipe which made with cooked amaranth seeds and mixed vegetables just like Indian rice pilaf.





  1. Spinach Corn Curry: Palak Corn curry is another variation of palak paneer, just replace the paneer with corn.








  1. Sattu Ki Kadhi : This Kadhi prepared with roasted chickpeas flour and sour buttermilk in Bihari style.








  1. Lauki Ka Dalcha: Dhudhi ka Dalcha is basically belong to Hyderabadi dish which prepared by yellow lentil and ghiya or lauki.





  1. Crunchy Tofu Bites : Perfect Crunchy Protein rich tofu snack coated with oats and panko.






  1. Oats Vegetable Khichdi : Khichdi is Indian main course generally which made with rice and dal. But for oats khichdi, we replace the rice with oats and makes tastier or healthier dish by adding vegetables.


  1. Apple Oats Porridge: Apple Oats porridge recipe is made by chopped apples, roasted oats and cooked in milk and served as breakfast or sweet recipe for your toddlers.




  1. Quinoa Oats Idli with Tomato Chutney: Combining quinoa, oats and semolina with sour buttermilk and vegetables to make these tempting idlis and served with tomato chutney.






  1. Grilled Tofu with Turmeric Brown Rice: Sometimes we need very simple and comforting food in our menu ie. Grilled tofu and turmeric brown rice.





  1. Sprouted Moth Palak Curry: Combination of protein rich sprouts, spinach and tomatoes in one pot as curry.





  1. Buckwheat And Gourd Pancakes : Energizing and nutritious, buckwheat is available throughout the year and can be served as an alternative to rice or made into porridge.





  1. Spinach Corn Pulao : Spinach corn pulao is easy and tasty recipe which prepared with two main ingredients yellow corn and green spinach combined with cooked rice.




  1. Baked Vegetable Risotto: Love the color and cheesy taste which makes me hungry anytime with glass of juice or any fabulous chilled drink. You can serve this baked risotto recipe with garlic toast as main course.





  1. Amaranth Tikkis : Amaranth patties or kebabs are tempting and flavorful in taste which goes amazing snack with a cup of tea or coffee.




  1. Rajma Kebabs : When protein packed beans and carbs rich potatoes comes together with flavor of chilies, ginger and spices, it becomes tasty and delicious snack.




  1. Masala Kala Chana Curry : Black Chickpeas cooked with tomato onion masala and serve with brown rice.



  1. Grilled Cheese Spinach Corn Sandwich : Spinach and corn both cooked in roux and use as spread on bread with cheese slices.




  1. Dal Dhokli: Flour Based Dumplings cooked in Indian Dal curry serve with rice as one pot meal.


  1. Baked Bread Katori Chaat: Sprouts, chickpeas and corn filling served in baked bread cups as chaat.



  1. Vrat ki Aloo Poori: Vrat ki Aloo Poori includes buckwheat flour based poori and Satvik Aloo curry.




  1. Barnyard Millet Pudding: Barnyard also known as samak rice which cooked in milk with nuts and cardamom powder and served as indian kheer.




23. Paneer Cheese Toast : Baked toast with crumble paneer burji and cheese as nice protein rich snack.




24. Broccoli Strawberry Salad with Apple Cider Vinaigrette : Nice combination of fruits and vegetables as salad in apple cider vinaigrette dressing.





25. Red Bean and Corn Enchiladas: Fast, simple and delicious cheesy meal. Baked Tortillas rolled with bean and corn filling and enchiladas sauce.




26. Mango Chickpea Salad : Mango and chickpea salad is summer salad and delicious in taste.
