1 Cup Basmati Rice
1/2 Cup Green Peas
1/4 Cup Fenugreek Leaves, chopped
2 Tbsp. Few Coriander Leaves, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
2 Green Chilies, chopped
1 Bay Leaf
2 Green Cardamoms
1/2 Tsp. Cumin Seeds
1/2 Tsp. Sugar
Salt to taste
1 Tsp. Coriander Powder
2 Tsp. Ghee
2 Cup Water
Heat the ghee in deep vessel, add bay leaf, cloves, cardamoms, cumin and stir it until to splutter.
Add chopped onion and green chilies and sauté until to translucent.
Add fenugreek leaves, coriander powder and green peas and sauté for few minutes.
Add rice and mix it. Add water and salt and mix it.
Cover and cook until the rice is done and water gets evaporated.
To remove fenugreek bitterness, Soak the fenugreek leaves in water with sugar and salt for 10 minutes and squeeze it.
