Beetroot Laddoo

Beetroot is a vegetable which is very good for health and skin both, it contains vitamins, proteins, zinc, magnesium and iron too. This time I choose “Beetroot Laddoo or Beet Raava Laddu” for festival season under dessert from vegetable theme.

For this recipe, we have to cook everything in ghee which enhance the taste of laddoos and combined in large bowl, prepare small balls and garnish with cashew or almond halves. Beetroot specially used for salad, adding color in food, savory items but this is my first trial to use beet in sweet recipe. It is very simple and easy recipe plus healthy too. You can store these laddoos for 5-6 days in airtight jar.

When my dish is ready, I was very happy because it looks vibrant and delicious. Beetroot helps to reduce blood pressure and heart attack problems. Its help in maintaining sugar level in blood and maintain the good health.
