Almond Cookies- Eggless Version

Almond cookies or biscuits are simple and crisp cookies which made with APF and almond meal and combine with sugar and butter mixture and bake it. I tried almond cookies without eggs. To make homemade almond powder check this recipe. It’s a great compliment with tea or coffee.
Almond cookies are my favorite cookies, which you can serve in front of guests and family or even gift to them on special occasions. This is my first cookies recipe which I shared with my readers.
Today I’m very excited to post my first recipe under full month Blogging Marathon#32, under this event we have to share a-z based recipes for whole September month. First recipe is started with alphabet “A” i.e. Almond cookies.

Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
Servings: 20 Cookies
Category : Baking Stuff- Cookies

Ingredients:
1 ¼ Cup All Purpose Flour (APF)
3/4 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Almond powder
1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 Tbsp. Milk
1/2 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
Few Almonds Halves for garnishing

Instructions:
Sieve the flour and baking powder twice times. Add cardamom powder and almond powder.
Whisk butter and sugar together in separate bowl.
Combine dry ingredient with wet ingredients and milk. Knead as firm dough.
Grease the baking pan with little butter.
Preheat the oven for 10-15 minutes on 180 degree.
Divide the dough into equal portions and set the in round shape.
Decorate the each cookie with almond halves and place in greased baking pan.
Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes on 180 degree Celsius.
Keep these cookies in airtight container for long use.

Note: For proper shape, you can wrap the dough into cling film. Keep for 10 minutes in freeze and cut into 1 inch thick pieces.
