2/3 Cup Basmati Rice
1/3 Cup Moong/ Whole Green Gram Sprouts
1/3 Cup Carrots and Peas
1 Medium Sized Onion, Slice
1 Tomato, Puree
1 Green Chili, Chopped
1/2 Tsp. Mustard Seeds
1/2 Tsp. Cumin Seeds
1/4 Tsp. Coriander Seeds
Salt to taste
Red Chili to Taste
1/4 Tsp. Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp. Coriander Powder
1/2 Tsp. Garam Masala
2 Tbsp. Clarifying Ghee
Wash and soak the rice in the water for 10-15 minutes. Chop the veggies.
Heat the ghee in pressure cooker. Add cumin seed, coriander seed and jeera together, when start splutter. Add onion and green chilli and sauté till to translucent.
Add tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes. Add carrots and peas and spices together. Mix well.
Add moong and rice with 2 cup water. Cover the lid of pressure cooker till to 2-3 whistles.
Now serve hot and yummy sprouts tomato rice with curd.
