Gulgule/ Sweet Dumpling/ Meethe Pakore

Gulgule is a very easy and simple recipe in western UP this is the first dish that new brides cook in the home. These sweet pakoras are also prepared during Pujas or religious rituals in Haryana and U.P side specially Holi and Sheetla mata pooja. Gulgule Pua is in the shape of a Pakora. If you like sweet then you will surely like these sweet Gulgule.

1 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
For flavour cardamom powder (optional)
Water for mixture
Oil or ghee for deep frying

Make a thick consistency paste of wheat flour and sugar with water.
Now add cardamom powder, its optional. Mix well.
Heat the oil/ghee into deep wok or pan.
Now fry this batter into hot ghee or oil into small pakora shape (dumpling).
Serve hot and cool sweet dumpling.
