2 Cup Corn meal (Makki ka Aata)
1/4 Cup Wheat flour
Salt to taste
Water for dough

Mix cornmeal, whole-wheat up flour and salt.
Mix in sufficient water, a little at a time, to make medium soft dough.
Divide the prepared dough into 5-6 equal portions.
Wet your hand with a little water and flatten each portion on a polythene sheet, into a disk of four to five inches diameter.
Heat up a tawa, transfer roti carefully on to the tawa.
Cook like simple roti, lift the roti and toast on both sides over a direct flame for a few seconds until it cooks.
A well done roti is cooked and has golden brown spots on both sides.
