Cornmeal Pakora

It is very easy to make Cornmeal Aloo Pakora. It takes less time and can be prepared instantly.


1 medium sized potato
1cup corn meal
½ cup water for batter
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
½ tsp. red chillies powder

For garnish

Green chutney
Tomato ketchup
  • Wash potato and peel and cut into thin round slices.
  • Add water in cornmeal and make thick consistency batter.
  • Add salt and red chilies powder. Mix well
  • Heat the oil in deep pan.
  • Dip each piece in batter and fry these slices one by one till they turn into golden color.
  • you can use chopped spinach and onion also in these batter.
  • Serve hot cornmeal potato pakoras with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
